CARIS and the Offshore Marine Academy are pleased to offer marine and hydrographic professionals access to training on the latest technology across the ping-to-chart workflow.

A training course has been scheduled at the Offshore Marine Academy premises in Bristol, United Kingdom for existing and prospective customers:

HIPS and SIPS Training
March 18 - 22, 2013
Deadline to register is February 27, 2013

The training will be a comprehensive session on leading data processing, visualization, quality control and product creation techniques using the latest HIPS & SIPS release. The latest technology in the software will be covered during the training course in order to enable the participant to improve processing efficiencies and gain more control over the quality of the hydrographic information.

Topics such as multibeam processing techniques, NEW Water Column Imaging, TPU, CUBE, 3D area based editing, 3D fly through, side scan and backscatter processing techniques (e.g. Geocoder), single beam processing techniques, presentation using Plot Composer and more will be covered during the training.

Training Facility

The training will take place at the Offshore Marine Academy premises in Bristol. These are located on 10th Floor Colston Tower, Colston Street, Bristol BS1 4XE.

Full training facilities with individual work stations will ensure every course participant receives full hands on experience throughout the course.
