The core of the Spatial Fusion Enterprise product line is the Spatial Fusion Enterprise Server. The data and web services are housed and managed via the Server, and the services available offer robust support of a wide range of industry standard data formats. This allows users to serve their data to the map client using both proprietary data publishing mechanisms and standards-based mechanisms such as the OGC®:.
The Server provides a Configuration Manager application that provides an easy mechanism for configuring web and data services, as well as manage user access, data display and managing application performance.
For CARIS Bathy DataBASE users the Server allows bathymetry or elevation data to be drawn directly from the database to the map client or viewer. Similarly, CARIS HPD users can use the web publisher to draw data from the database.
The Server can be used to serve data to the Spatial Fusion Enterprise Viewer, or to a third party web map viewer via OGC®: standards.
