Lightweight

HPD source data can be viewed without needing to install one of the editor products on the user's workstation. This extends the access to the database within the organization to allow other non-production users to view the data.

User-friendly

HPDWeb is easy to use and does not require the training of the more advanced editor products in the suite. A user can quickly access and view the areas of interest with little initial support.

Flexible

HPDWeb can display both DIGEST and S-57 data with ease. Customization settings are available to change the overall appearance and it is possible to adapt its network footprint as well.

Scalable

The HPDWeb will install in a simple configuration with minimal network assumptions and serve a light user base. However, it is possible to modify the configuration to tune the performance of the package to improve its performance and responsiveness.

Role-Aware

The administration package allows configurations of users and corresponding roles to control who has access to the data and higher-level functions in the service.

OGC GML Generation

When viewing data of interest, it is possible to download selections of data in standard GML format for use in other GML-compliant vendor products.
