Here are the top new features in HPD Source Editor 3.2
New raster tools
New tools are now available to control image masking for external raster images, including a new Colour Picker option, with improved masking settings.
New visual comparison tools for viewing different datasets
Flicker and Swipe tools allow you to examine database layers and external data sources simultaneously in the Display window. These tools can be invoked anytime and greatly enhance the data-compilation experience.
Expanded support for displaying GIS Web services
An easier method to set HTTP values for GIS Web Services is now available. The values can be changed on-the-fly without having to restart an HPD editor. Supported formats include:
Web Map Service (WMS)
Web Map Tile Service (WMTS)
Tile Map Service (TMS)
Web Coverage Service (WCS)
Enhanced Compression Wavelet (ECW)
Creation of workspaces and charts of worldwide coverage or for Polar Regions
HPD is better capable of handling very small scale usages or charts covering very large geographic areas. When working in Polar Regions, HPD Source Editor will switch automatically to an appropriate projection when the workspace includes a pole.
