The scratch layer in previous versions of Product Editor has been replaced by the feature layer (File > New Feature Layer). Data can be imported into the feature layer and saved as a HOB file. The HOB file can be later reopened for further digitizing and editing operations.
Utilize advanced editing tools to repair these features prior to product creation.
Utilize the S-57 Export Wizard to efficiently save and organize ENC base cells, updates, re-issues and new editions.
Package the S-57 ENC datasets and the catalogue file with the S-57 ENC Exchange Set Wizard.
Cut S-57 (ENC, IENC, AML, GML) products from a user-defined area on an HPD Workspace or use existing S-57 templates. Product data can be extracted from one or multiple Source usages. Several versions of the same Product Specification (i.e. IENC 2.1, IENC 2.2 and IENC 2.3) can now be created and maintained concurrently from the same HPD schema. Products with a global extent greater than 180 degrees are also supported.
Utilize familiar HPD feature creation and editing tools to create product-specific features that are stored in the database only for the product and do not change the source data.
Reopen a product if further editing is required and re-export the S-57 ENC, IENC, AML, GML version.
Utilize powerful tools for comparing exported ENC/AML cells to the source to identify new, modified and deleted features from source. Swipe and flicker tools make the processes of data comparison and integration easier.
Review changes from the source before applying them to the product.
Create updates, re-issues or new editions of an S-57 ENC, AML, GML product after source changes have been applied.
