These include: S-57 ENC, BSB Raster Nautical Charts, GeoTIFF, MrSID, TIFF/TFW, TIFF/IGA, CARIS, MicroStation (.dgn), AutoCAD (.dwg and .dxf), MapInfo (.mif / .mid), ArcView (Shapefiles), and geospatial point data from ODBC databases.

Expandable

The multi-user survey management environment allows multiple users across the network to work with the same centralized repository. There is no need to have BEAMS users each working independently with their own copy of the data. This eliminates the risk of versioning problems and the hassle of multiple archiving mechanisms.
