CALL FOR PAPERS

The organizing committee for CARIS 2008 invites interested parties to submit proposals for papers to be read at this international event.

A complimentary Conference Only Registration will be extended to the primary speaker for each paper selected to be read.

Under the theme Make a Spatial Connection, CARIS 2008 will celebrate the work of CARIS users. Proposals should focus on challenges, case studies and application solutions relevant to CARIS software with a specific emphasis on data sharing, workflow management and interoperability.

Papers are sought in, but not limited to, the following areas:

Papers should be proposed in the form of an abstract and include:

  • Title of proposed paper
  • Author's name and contact information, including title, employer, address, telephone, fax and email
  • Identification of primary speaker where different from the author or where there are multiple authors
  • Abstract of the proposed presentation (no more than 300 words). The presentation should fit within one of the themes outlined above
  • Author's biographical information (no more than 150 words).

All Abstract submissions must be made by email to caris2008@caris.com or by fax to 1 506 459-3849. By submitting an abstract, the author agrees to its publication in the final program if it is accepted.

The committee will assess the proposals received, notify its decision and invite the authors selected to read their paper at CARIS 2008.

The complete articles, no longer than 3000 words must be submitted in PDF or MS Word format. By submitting an article, the author agrees to its publication on the CARIS 2008 web site.

Deadlines
