Bathymetry of the Cooper River "T," north of Charleston, South Carolina where two large tributaries converge, causing significant turbulence that eroded a 16-metre deep hole. Sand waves and vertical scarps are evident along the channel and meandering bend. Data were collected using an EM2040C aboard the R/V Savannah, as part of the College of Charleston BEAMS Program, and post-processed with HIPS and SIPS 8.1.
