An Integrated View of the Galveston Harbour Entrance
Compilation of layers accessed with CARIS PORTIS. PORTIS is used internally by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as an information system as well as externally by contractors and other industry stakeholders. Data layers include hydrographic and land surveys (placement areas) processed with CARIS BEAMS and hosted on the PORTIS server for web access; MrSID® imagery; and navigational aids and other objects from the NOAA S-57 ENC; CAD drawings from the USACE (channels) as well as the department of transportation (road network).
